Pamela Guerrerio, MD, PhD

Chief, Laboratory of Allergic Diseases - NIAID, NIH

Dr. Guerrerio received her MD and PhD degrees from Johns Hopkins University where she also completed a residency in pediatrics and fellowship in allergy and immunology. Dr. Guerrerio is currently Chief of the Laboratory of Allergic Diseases at the National Institutes of Health. Her research program is focused on understanding the genetic and immunologic mechanisms that lead to food allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis, and related diseases, and identifying strategies to improve the care of these patients.
