Dr. Neptune is a Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialist at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Neptune, a member of the Marfan Foundation Professional Advisory Board, is an expert on mechanisms of lung injury and repair. Her research and clinical work focuses on the mechanistic basis of lung manifestations of Marfan Syndrome and the determination of the prevalence and burden of these symptoms and findings. Her long term goals are to increase the awareness of lung impairments in Marfan Syndrome and to develop useful strategies and interventions that will promote durable lung health.
